Why, of course, they poke their fingers into the icing but probably never eat a bite. Some are more aggressive in their first cake adventure but Felipe is like his dad. Dave did the same thing with his first birthday cake. Interesting......

Felipe's First Birthday Party

Felipe was a little out of sorts the day of his party but all in all, we think he had a fun time. His best friends Sophie and Travis were there, so that made it just fine. Felipe's cousins: Cameron, Tristan, Gavan, and James also enjoyed the celebration too.

See My Toys???

Is it Christmas in May or what??? Felipe is a very lucky boy because he had just started to outgrow some of his toys. Thank goodness for birthdays which fall 5 months after Christmas.

Is It a Luau or a Birthday Party??

Felipe and Sophie seem to be having some fun together during a more quiet period of time. They're probably wondering how to get those necklaces off of each other or how they got there so fast....

Just a Little More....

Felipe seems to want to run rather than walk when you hold his hands and get behind him. He doesn't have the walking thing down yet but he sure has the running thing mastered. That's probably why he hasn't gone solo yet. He can't figure out how to slow done his gait when on his own and he knows he can't run by himself. Maybe he just needs a little more time.....

Felipe's New Toy Shelf

One of the gifts Grandpa and Grandma gave to Felipe for his first birthday was this toy shelf. The containers help to keep his toys organized and Felipe likes to help his mommy pick up the toys and put them in the containers----sometimes.

My Favorite Backyard Swing

Two of Felipe's favorites are his back yard swing and of course his monkey.
