- Maria and I got married August 18, 2007 and nine months later, Felipe arrived. He is the joy, mini-boy of our lives! Although parenthood is more challenging than we actually expected, we enjoy every new experience Felipe presents to us. The sleepless nights we can do without but it's all part of the package and we would not have it any other way! Life has been great for the past five months as we are able to get more sleep under our belts and really enjoy this little guy during all of his/our waking hours! Now three years later, Felipe is beginning to speak in both English and Spanish, is a very active little boy, knows his alphabet and sounds of consonants and vowels, and can count to 100. The milestones move by quickly and we all can't wait for the next!

The Latest and Best Movie Clip
Felipe is growing up pretty quickly as you can see from the last couple of entries. He has always been a happy baby but now his happiness and laughter flows over so much that he has you laughing with him.What a joy!

Getting Bigger Every Day!
Felipe is now almost five months old and is able to sit pretty well, as well as roll from stomach to back and back to stomach. However, he very rarely does that maneuver when being watched. When mom or dad leaves Felipe on his back in his play gym, a few minutes later he is on his stomach. It must be the roll over guardian angel..... Also, Felipe is now just about sleeping through the night from 9 pm to about 5 or 6 in the morning. His favorite vegetable to date is sweet potato but he'll also eat acorn and butternut squash without a complaint. Felipe weighs 16 pounds and is 26 inches long. He still doesn't have any teeth which is unusual for a Zak---around 4 months.
